    Delivery Time
Orders placed before 2 PM are usually dispatched the same day for next working day delivery. In rare cases, non-stocked items may take 3–4 working days to arrive. We will provide daily updates on such orders. Unless stated otherwise, chilled products ordered after 2pm on a Friday will be processed on the next working day. Unfortunately, sometimes there are issues with couriers which are beyond our control, and in these cases Dr. Adams Pharmacy cannot be held responsible.

    RESPONSIBILITY

It is your (the Buyer's) responsibility to ensure that the delivery address and your chosen delivery option are correct and confirmed for every order.

We use DPD and Royal Mail as our couriers. They do leave parcels on door steps if the receiver is not in as per their terms & conditions. It is a responsibility of our client to be in to accept the delivery. Dr. Adams Pharmacy will take no responsibility for parcels being left on the door steps.

We work closely with our couriers to make sure parcels are being delivered within the listed time frames. However there might be delays on rare occasions due to unforeseen circumstances. We encourage our customers to take this into consideration while planning treatments for your clients.

  2. How to order

Have a read through this page to find everything you need to know about how to order with us at Dr. Adams Pharmacy:

    Ordering Private Prescriptions

    1. What patient details are required when ordering a prescription?

You will need the patient’s first name, surname, date of birth, telephone number, and email address when ordering a prescription.

    2. What prescription details are required?

The date of the prescription needs to be included and must be a maximum of 6 months prior to the date of order. Please include the full name of the product and the quantity required. We do also insist that you confirm the patient has agreed that the prescriber can obtain products from Dr. Adams Pharmacy, and also, of course, that you confirm a face-to-face consultation has taken place with the patient.

    3. What prescriber details are required?

We must have both the name and signature of the prescriber, and the full registered address. Please also give us a direct email address and your registration number (e.g. GMC, GDC, NMC).

    4. What you need to know about private prescriptions:

A private prescription is not written on an official NHS prescription and so is not paid for by the NHS. It is imperative that the prescribed products are required for the benefit of the patient’s well-being and health.

Private prescriptions are exclusive of VAT.

You cannot order a product that is for anyone other than the named patient with a prescription, and items must not be resold.

The medicine ordered belongs to the patient and not to the prescribing agent.

    Ordering Stock Orders

You must be a registered healthcare professional to be registered with us at Dr. Adams Pharmacy, however, non-prescribers can also order products provided that they are not for named patients. Please be informed that signed orders/ stock orders are inclusive of VAT.
